Who we are
Connect With Property Ltd trades as Connect with Property and is the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect
- Your contact details. Name, email address and phone number, whenever you use a form on this site.
- What you tell us. Anything you write in a message box, and which event or topic you enquired about.
- Booking information. Which events you have booked and attended, and whether you hold a membership.
- Payment information. Payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits of a card, but we never see or store full card or bank details.
- Photographs. Images taken at events, as described in our terms and conditions.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To run an event you booked, including sending your confirmation and entry code. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To administer a membership. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To answer an enquiry you sent us. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, namely responding to people who contact us.
- To send you news about upcoming events and the membership. Lawful basis: consent, which you give by ticking the box on a form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To keep proper business and accounting records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anybody else’s marketing. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Our website hosting and database provider.
- Our payment provider, for ticket and membership payments.
- Our email provider, for confirmations and newsletters.
- The venue, where a guest list is needed on the night.
These are currently Railway (hosting and database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery) and Google Workspace (our email).
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to two years from your last contact with us.
- Booking and membership records: seven years, to meet accounting and tax requirements.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe, and we remove people who have not engaged for two years.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
- ask us to delete it, where we do not need to keep it;
- ask us to restrict or object to how we use it;
- ask for your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time, either by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us.

Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies set are strictly necessary to make the site and the booking process work.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
